Technical Service Manager
The Washington County Service Authority (WCSA) is seeking a Technical Service Manager. The Technical Services Manager is responsible for supporting all WCSA departments by receiving, considering, and responding in a thoughtful and inclusive way, to the needs of each department. Technical needs range from water and wastewater projects from conception to completion; water and wastewater treatment process improvements and regulatory compliance; business processes and systematic improvements.
Required is a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related Technical Discipline OR 15 years of applicable on-the-job training at the Authority or another employer deemed equal by the Authority may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. Minimum 10 years of varied management experience in Operations, including responsibility for multiple functional areas within Operations. The Technical Services Manager will supervise a team comprised of the Meter Department, Electrical & Instrumentation Controls Team, Control Valves Team, Resident Project Representatives, and Cross Connection Control.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational and administrative skills; the ability to consider; analyze complex processes and the ability to implement process improvements based on quality, cost, and safety; demonstrate critical thinking skills for both administrative and operational functions; and exhibit inter-personal relations that are beyond reproach with coworkers, service providers and the public.
Compensation is dependent upon qualifications, with an excellent benefits package. All employment offers are contingent on the successful completion of a post-offer drug test as well as background and reference checks.
