University Radiology covers the largest and fastest growing hospital in Knoxville, TN, The University of Tennessee Medical Center, as well as several outpatient imaging locations across the community. We have recently entered into a joint venture agreement with our hospital that will bring an additional 3 Outpatient Imaging Center locations into our group's coverage model, which will help shift the volume mix towards more 8a - 5p imaging rather than 24 x 7 ER's to cover. In addition to our strategic outpatient growth, the group has outstanding relationships with our Brain Spine Institute, Heart Lung Vascular Institute, Woman's and Infants Center, and Cancer Institute, which will provide for ample collaborative referral and patient care opportunities in these desired subspecialty areas. The position blends the enjoyment and reward of working with and teaching residents in an academic setting, while maintaining the independence of a partner owned and managed practice. The group is flexible in terms of offering partnership track positions or employment positions with a fixed number of shifts and weekend responsibilities. In addition to these flexible offerings, the group has a robust internal shift "buy/sell" system that allows those who wish to work/earn more the opportunity to do so and similarly those desiring more time off may also do so by giving up shifts. The practice has a dedicated overnight and after-hours service team such that these positions would have no to very little after hours call responsibilities.

The practice provides an excellent and extremely competitive mixture of income, time off and benefits, augmented by an association with the Graduate School of Medicine at The University of Tennessee. There is no state income tax and Knoxville is consistently ranked as one of the top places to live by many travel and living publications with a cost of living below large metro areas.
