The University of Virginia's College at Wise invites applications for an Admissions Counselor.
Responsibilities include student recruitment; attending college recruitment fairs; visits to high schools; initial review of student admissions applications; communication with schools, students, and parents; and assistance in the planning and implementation of recruitment and other admissions activities and special projects. Extensive overnight travel throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and other states as assigned is required, as well as some evening and weekend work. A bachelor's degree is required, as well as a valid driver's license. Applicants must be motivated; possess excellent communication and organizational skills; have basic computer skills; and demonstrate the ability to work with a diverse student population.
