Position Description:
The A&E Coordinator serves on the CEHHS Access and Engagement (A&E) team to advance the college's strategic vision, diversity action plan, and inclusive excellence initiatives. The coordinator is responsible for fostering a culture of inclusion, care, and community. The position supports students (undergraduate and graduate) faculty, and staff and promotes opportunities for sense of belonging and equity that affect individual and organizational growth and development in the CEHHS.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
• Master's degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor's plus 1-2 years of experience) in education, higher education, student affairs, social and behavioral sciences, or related field (part-time work will be considered).
• 1-3 years experience working with diverse populations, particularly historically underrepresented populations in higher education.
• Experience with and knowledgeable of inclusive excellence initiatives.
• Knowledge of postsecondary institutions and how they function
• Excellent communication skills, particularly oral and written communication, for understanding project requirements and communicating with students, faculty, staff, administrators, and university/community partners.
• Ability to establish and maintain strong positive working relationships/collaborations with a variety of constituencies including students, faculty, university, and community partners.
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects/initiatives/tasks with significant attention to detail.
• Proficient with various Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google software platforms, and multiple social media platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Possess basic qualitative and quantitative (descriptive statistics) research skills; familiarity with Qualtrics software.
• Familiar with multiple social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook
