Job Description

Under specific direction, safely and efficiently place equipment, set up seating, buffet, cabaret, and/or banquet tables to match client or supervisor requests.
In support of events, clean and maintain the performance and presentation spaces before, during, and after events:
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum
  • Wipe down surfaces
  • Empty trash and replace liners
  • Restock restrooms
  • Under certain circumstances, shovel snow from entryways or treat areas
Receive, unload and re-load deliveries of items and equipment from semi/box trucks as necessary.
Provide courteous and expeditious customer service for patrons and clients.
Comport themselves in a professional manner in keeping with the core values of both the University of Missouri Saint Louis and the Touhill Performing Arts Center.

Varies, including nights and weekends

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and some work experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to transport objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to work long and unusual hours, including late at night.
  • Willingness to work hard and take directions.
Anticipated Hiring Range

Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Hiring Range: $18/hour
