Job Summary
The University of Kentucky College of Medicine ( COM) Office of Medical Education ( OME) seeks a program manager for the Medical Student Education Program ( MSE).
This individual will oversee the implementation and operations of the program, and shepherd its progress toward achieving milestones. They will serve as the central resource and liaison with internal and external constituents, leadership, learners, faculty, and staff to provide expertise and guidance related to the program's efforts.
The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations and coordinate all facets of the program including but not limited to meeting planning, budget planning and monitoring, program promotion (marketing), student application processing, staff training, outreach activities, resource allocation, and more. Further, this individual will assist in promoting the program through collaboration with all campus stakeholders and regional campus admissions officers.
The ideal candidate will exhibit great attention to detail, excellent management experience, strong organization skills, ability to work well with teams, ability to effectively problem-solve complex situations, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain information and communicate effectively with various internal and external constituencies.
This is a remote position.
4-year grant funded position.

Preferred Education/Experience
BA/BS with at least 4 years of experience or an advanced degree plus 2 years of experience. Experience working in an academic medical center is preferred.
