Community Events & Economic Engagement Coordinator

The Town of Damascus, "Trail Town USA," seeks a dynamic, creative, and proactive individual to enhance our vibrant community and drive economic growth. This key role involves:

· Planning & Managing Events: Developing and executing diverse festivals and events.

· Business Growth: Attracting new businesses and supporting existing ones to strengthen our local economy.

· Partnerships: Building strong relationships with regional, state, and local stakeholders.

· Leveraging Assets: Maximizing the economic potential of our unique outdoor recreation and agritourism resources.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (related field) and 2-5 years' experience in event planning and/or economic development. Must possess strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
