The Tazewell County Board of Supervisors is soliciting applications for qualified, experienced individuals for the position of Grant Accounting Manager. This position will report to the Director of Finance for Tazewell County. The successful applicant will submit financial reports/project narratives and other documents pertaining to individual grant requirements as necessary for all existing and future grants obtained by the County government. The Grant Accounting Manager will provide accounting services for Tazewell County Industrial Development Authority, as well as work with grants administered by the IDA. All records pertaining to grants and related projects will be the responsibility of the Grant Accounting Manager. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, as well as organizational and time management skills. Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on spreadsheet capability. This position also requires extensive knowledge of QuickBooks financial software. A bachelor's degree is preferred, (but not required) and/or two (2) years of experience in grant management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The salary range is $36,000 - $45,000, DOE.
