Clinical Assistant Professor
The Department of Occupational Therapy (OT) has two 12-month clinical assistant professor faculty positions to begin in September 2023. One of these two clinical faculty positions will assume the role of the Department's Academic Fieldwork Coordinator.
The Department of Occupational Therapy at NYU is one of the oldest OT programs in the United States. The Department offers an entry-level master of science, a post-professional masters of arts, a post-professional occupational therapy clinical doctorate (online and residential), and a doctorate of philosophy in research. In the fall of 2024, the Department will replace the current entry-level MS in OT with a clinical doctorate degree.
The mission of the Department of OT at New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture Education and Human Development is to prepare competent, compassionate, ethical occupational therapists to assume roles as clinicians, leaders, scholars, and researchers. We are committed to substantially increasing the proportion of our faculty from historically underrepresented groups as we strive to create the most intellectually diverse, inclusive, and equitable institution that we can, and especially encourage candidates from historically underrepresented groups to apply.
Interested applicants should apply online through the link provided with a one-page letter of interest specifying position, highlighting qualifications, a diversity statement, curriculum vitae, and two letters of reference. Letters of reference should be submitted directly to the search committee via Interfolio.
Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until 3/15/23.
