Job Summary
Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College is currently seeking applicants for a TV Producer for the Cumberland Campus. This job produces, directs, and edits special video projects for the college, community organizations, and access channels.
Job Duties:
• Transforms concepts into complete and tangible video products.
• Produces, directs, and edits special video projects for the college, community organizations, and access channels.
• Produces, directs, and edits video projects to promote professional development for faculty, staff and students at SKCTC.
• Provides academic support to faculty and staff with video/audio production requests.
• Produce and direct live online programing.
• Train colleagues on how to use/incorporate video in Blackboard, Social Media, or some other virtual platform.
• Additional software knowledge/experience to assist with IT needs (e.g., password resets, software/system updates, printer troubleshooting…)
• Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree (multimedia production or related field) and 1-2 years related work experience in Television/Communications, or equivalent.
• Demonstrated video and audio production skills.
• Computer, graphic design, still photography, and web design also preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically.
• Ability to work well under pressure and imposed deadlines.
