Housekeeping Aids

The James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Johnson City, TN is seeking Housekeeping Aids for our Environmental Management Service with primary responsibility of furniture cleaning and arrangement, movement of desks and other heavy furniture, requesting and storing supplies, collection and removal of trash or waste, replenishing dispensers, hanging curtains or draperies, cleaning elevators, restrooms, designated smoking areas, drinking fountains, and performing other related duties as assigned. Incumbent may be assigned to any designated area throughout the Medical Center for the accomplishment of housekeeping tasks necessary to maintain the assigned areas in an aseptically clean and visibly attractive manner. This may involve assignments to various tasks on a day-to-day basis.
