Position Purpose
Under the leadership of the Director, Talent Acquisition, the Affirmative Action Plan Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for matters related to Dartmouth's compliance with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs ( OFCCP) affirmative action planning requirements. Responsibilities include the creation of the annual Affirmative Action Plan, training support, building awareness regarding OFCCP regulations, and ensuring compliance. The specialist plays a crucial role in developing and implementing Affirmative Action Programs, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.

- 2 to 5 years of experience with Affirmative Action Plan management.
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant federal and state regulations.
- Proficient in extracting and analyzing data sets from databases, demonstrating strong data management skills.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.

- Provide expertise on inquiries about OFCCP regulations and Dartmouth's relevant policies, addressing specific questions and concerns.
- Facilitate awareness of affirmative action obligations.
- Collaborate with HR leadership and relevant offices on campus to ensure institutional compliance with OFCCP regulations.

- Develop, improve, and implement systems and processes that allow the collection of accurate data for Affirmative Action Plan purposes, emphasizing the importance of data accuracy for compliance.

Project Management:
- Oversee the creation and submission of the Affirmative Action Plan annually.
- Collect detailed data and information from stakeholders to complete all Affirmative Action Plan requirements.
- Facilitate relationships with Affirmative Action Plan compliance vendors.
- Regularly review and update the Affirmative Action Plan in collaboration with HR leadership, supporting progress monitoring and compliance checks.
- In partnership with the Director, Talent Acquisition, respond to OFCCP audits and requests.
