County of Floyd – Office of The Clerk of Circuit Court
The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Floyd County is accepting applications for a Deputy Clerk position.
The Deputy Clerk will be responsible for processing court orders, probating wills and qualification of estates, recording & indexing real estate transactions, filing civil cases, indexing and scanning documents, issuing marriage licenses, collecting court costs and other office duties, as needed.
The employee must exercise professionalism and courtesy with co-workers, attorneys, and the general public. Duties require accuracy and close attention to detail, as well as confidentiality.
High School diploma or equivalent is required with at least 2 years of clerical experience. Candidates must be computer proficient with excellent customer service abilities with stable employment history.
