Front Desk Receptionist
The Bristol Redevelopment and Housing Authority is looking to fill one of its most critical positions, Front Desk Receptionist. This key role makes the first impression on the public and the customers of the Housing Authority. It is essential we find the right person who is outgoing and friendly to build a positive bridge between the organization and those we serve. We need someone with outstanding customer service skills and who can always address our customers with a thoughtful and caring attitude. As with any job where one is dealing with the public, there will be times that will test your patience and demand a little extra strength. This person must have the ability to deal with problem situations, and sometimes difficult people, without losing their self-control while maintaining a courteous disposition. Excellent people skills are a must for this position.
Typical duties will include routing of phone calls, receiving visitors, managing daily mail, and other typical receptionist duties. This position plays a key role in the Housing Authority to assist those in need to find safe, attractive, and affordable housing. This is an entry level position with the opportunity to move up in the field of affordable housing. Starting salary is $25,043.00 to $35,060.00 based on skills and experience. Applications will be accepted until Monday, March 27, 2023, or until the position is filled.
