IT Service Delivery Lead
The Bezos Earth Fund is a new and fast-growing philanthropy dedicated to combating climate change and protecting nature. We are looking for a hands-on, early to midcareer technologist to assist in the management of technology systems and services in a modern enterprise environment. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the IT Service Delivery Lead will provide the delivery and support of IT products and services to The Bezos Earth Fund user community to an agreed service level. This role is integral in supporting the Bezos Earth Fund business operations, enhancements of existing systems, and strong collaboration with all departments with an emphasis on delivering a pleasant customer experience. This position will be remote to start and will transition to hybrid mid-year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a business analyst and perform needs assessments with users including describing current processes, suggesting alternatives, and challenging the status quo, when appropriate.
- Help integrate and automate workflow/systems internally - leveraging Microsoft 365 products.
- Develop and deliver training materials, provide on-site and/or remote orientation and training for staff.
- Work closely with business partners internally and externally to administer, configure, troubleshoot, and support business applications, processes, and system integrations.
- Work with Director of Information Technology to ensure up-to-date security controls are maintained and enforced in areas of responsibility across all business applications and aligned to Bezos Earth Fund policies.
- Oversee and manage IT service catalog ensuring that listings are accurate, adding missing services or making recommendations for services that are not offered.
- Challenge user requests to ensure that best practices are followed and implemented.
- Work as backup and with IT Technicians to troubleshoot helpdesk issues, A/V issues, and mobile devices, maintain inventory, on- and off-boarding staff, and assist with setting up equipment and conference rooms as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Associate degree with 5 or more years of experience or bachelor's degree with 3 or more years of experience.
- At least three years of experience working in IT, with a focus on business application support is required. Two years IT project management experience preferred.
- Experience with supporting/administering applications within the Microsoft 365 cloud ecosystem (e.g., SharePoint Online, Teams, Teams telephony, OneDrive, Power Automate, Intune).
- Experience with cloud-based systems and how they impact different business processes.
- Enthusiasm around using technology to support increased staff user adoption, organizational efficiency, and impact; ability to translate and transfer that enthusiasm to colleagues through training, strategy sessions, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret business needs and goals into systems solutions.
- Demonstrated skills in technical problem solving, prioritizing, and collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, prioritize across multiple projects, and manage time effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information in a clear, concise manner that is understandable by all staff.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- May require extended hours for urgent issues or to meet established deadlines.
- Work will be performed remotely for the first few months and transition to hybrid mid-year.
- This position is based in Washington, D.C.
