Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and the Wake Forest University School of Medicine are inviting applications for a Faculty Family Medicine Physician. Join our esteemed team at the University Internal Medicine Country Club (UIM) ambulatory practice located in Winston Salem, North Carolina. This is an Adult Only practice treating patients ages 18+.

Position Highlights:

  • Location: Conveniently situated just 10 minutes away from the main medical center campus in Winston Salem, North Carolina, ensuring easy accessibility for patients, providers, and staff.
  • Established History: With a rich legacy dating back to 1992, our practice boasts remarkable faculty retention, with many providers serving dedicatedly for 20 to 30 years.
  • Clinical Focus: This full-time clinical role entails a commitment to 8 clinical and 2 nonclinical sessions per week, with flexible options available for part-time positions or mixed academic roles.
  • Diverse Opportunities: While primarily clinical, there are abundant opportunities for teaching, clinical research, and administrative roles.
  • Collaborative Environment: Join a cohesive team of 14 physicians and 2 Physician Assistants, fostering seamless referrals and collaborative efforts. Enjoy a close relationship with clinical pharmacy practice.
  • Call Expectations: Limited outpatient call weeks shared within the General Internal Medicine section, supported by a triage nurse answering service.
